Volunteer Opportunities

It would be greatly appreciated if you could spare an hour or more of your time every week to donate to a noble cause. The Giles County Historical Society is in need of volunteers from all age groups, cultural backgrounds, and levels of experience to fulfill its mission of documenting, preserving, and interpreting local history.

Volunteer work at the Society varies from managing the Research Center and the reception/exhibit area to cataloging museum artifacts, scanning photographs, and entering data. You can volunteer regularly on a weekly basis, participate in specific activities such as the Christmas Open House, research and create exhibits, or write short articles for the newsletter on specific aspects of local history.

Become part of a powerful movement to bring history to life and make it relevant to everyone. Join us today and help us preserve and share the stories that shape our world. Together, we can ensure that the lessons of the past are not forgotten and can inspire a better future for all.
